Our subsidiary company TOI TOI & DIXI n.v.-s.a. in Lot, Belgium, is a leading service provider for portable toilets, luxury sanitary containers or multipurpose containers with individual fittings. 

For our Belgian branch, we are looking for an Operations Director based in Lot (Brussels area).

The OD reports to the Managing Director and has 2 direct reports:

  • 1 Trucks & Depots Manager
  • 1 Dispatch Manager

Your role

The Operations Director takes care of:

  • Leading the operational side of the entire TK (Toilet Cabin) business.
  • Ensuring best in class efficiency and process optimization in the area of dispatching, service level and customer satisfaction.
  • Synchronize Dispatch and TK logistics for optimal running of operations.
  • Ensuring logistics and technical set up of branches, trucks and equipment.
  • Environment, Safety and Health aspects of the organization.
  • Aligning the organizational capabilities to the Sales objectives, helping to achieve and sustain profit and growth.

Main KPIs:

  • Performance improvement.
  • Revenue and EBITDA achievement.
  • CAPEX management;
  • Rental utilization.
  • Project milestones.
  • Reporting duties (monthly, quarterly, annually, strategic plans)

Your skills

Education

  • Business Management education, possibly supplemented by a practice-oriented degree, as well a professional experience in a responsible customer-oriented service position.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years of Operations Management and proven track record in the area of Services (like multi-sites and/or multi-countries) with a high degree of Service or Logistics.
  • Minimum 5 years of People Management, developing and motivating employees.
  •  Strong strategic and customer focus with a clear understanding and feeling for wider issues that may impact customer journey.
  • Experience in working with various IT tools in the areas of Dispatching/Planning and/or Customer Service.

SKILLS

  • Hands on / Down to earth/Pragmatic mentality.
  • Master in Planning, Communicating and Executing.
  • Project, Process and Change Management.
  • Conceptual skills.
  • Strong People Manager
  • Ability to collect/analyze information to improve the quality and the customer experience.
  • Carrying and supporting of process surveys and analyses (DILO, Value Stream, …)
  • Ability to judge, to take responsibility and decisions and to think entrepreneurially.
  • Willing to think outside the box and challenge the status quo while also fairly evaluating all possible solutions.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting and dynamic priorities
  • Fluent, spoken and written in Dutch, French and English.
