We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT System Engineer to join our international dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining our organization's IT systems. The IT System Engineer will collaborate with various departments to understand their technological needs, provide technical support, and ensure the overall efficiency of our IT infrastructure.

Your role
- You design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable IT systems, including the technical documentation
- You will define standards and policies for end-user computing
- Ensuring the reliability and availability of IT systems and services will be your responsibility
- Govern IT operations related contracts and licenses is another one of your tasks
- You provide technical support to end-users and resolve IT-related issues promptly.
- You can proactively optimize IT systems to enhance efficiency and resource utilization.
- You monitor, automate and improve the infrastructure
- You will also support corporate projects on site in various locations (e.g. O365 rollouts, integration projects)
- Collaborating with other IT professionals, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve organizational goals is an additional task for you
Your skills
- You´ve successfully completed a bachelor´s degree or apprenticeship in business informatics, informatics or other IT related field
- You provide a proven experience as an IT System Engineer or a similar role
- You are familiar with virtualization technologies and cloud computing
- You have experience with Windows Azure, Active Directory and Windows servers in a corporate environment as well as with administering Linux servers
- You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Your strength are Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- You have basic experience with Office 365 and/or Exchange/Sharepoint
- You speak English well (B2 or better) and German fluently
